Group Work Skills
Training course for anyone working in a group
Sometimes, professionals involved in the care of children are required to run or facilitate groups: either for carers or for other professionals.
This course covers the setting of clear, agreed objectives and how to achieve them; factors which can help groups run well; and, effective leadership and facilitation.
Additionally, basic group work skills are covered, as well as how to capitalise on group members’ strengths, knowledge and resources.
This one-day course meets the requirements of the National Minimum Standards
